SEBO FILTRATION

S-Class Filtration

All SEBO Vacuum Cleaners come with S-CLASS FILTRATION as standard. To meet the S-CLASS standard the filtration system has to remove a minimum of 99.97% of particles of 0.3 microns and above. The SEBO S-Class system will remove 100% of particles of 1 micron and above. Dust mite faeces are approx 10 microns. Sebo Vacuum Cleaners carry the British Allergy Foundation Seal of Approval.

The S- Class Filtration System meets the demanding requirements of asthma and allergy sufferers, because fine micron dust particles are firmly retained inside the Sebo Vacuum Cleaner and not released into the air.

All Sebo Vacuum Cleaners have a three stage filtration system.

- Stage one consists of the sealable multi-layer filter bag. This effectively retains bacteria, allergens and other potentially harmfull substances for safe disposal.

The second stage is the motor filter positioned near the filter bag, Which also protects the motor.

The final filter is the exhaust filter that ensures even the finest particles are Captured for clean and pure air.

Electrostatic Filtration

S-Class Filtration

Electrostatic filtration uses statically charged micro-fibres that attract dust particles from the air stream, these then bond onto the fibres. This enables the filter material to have a relatively open texture which allows a very good air flow for better suction performance, yet it also gives highly effective filtration.

All SEBO domestic vacuum cleaners either come with S-Class filtration, or can be easily upgraded to S-Class. To meet the S-Class standard, the filtration system has to remove a minimum of 99.97% of particles that range from 0.3 to 0.5 microns. The SEBO S-Class system will remove 100% of particles of 1 micron and above. Dust mite faeces are approximately 10 microns. A micron is 1/25,000 of an inch in size. The width of a human hair is between 70-100 microns.

Air flows directly into the micro-filter through the sides of the bag, bypassing collected dirt and maintaining suction.
